I’m Jake Holland; I am offering a Fully Insured, professional dog walking service in south Bristol and cover surrounding areas.

Dogs have been a part of my life as long as I can remember and have trained all my own dogs to a high level of obedience.
In 2003 I worked in New Zealand for 6 months, on a 3’500 acre farm as a shepherd and trained 2 of my own sheep dogs. The dogs were so obedient and well trained at 6 months old my family bought them off me.

This was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Walking dogs for a living back here in the UK is the closest I could get to New Zealand.

Since returning, almost 20 years ago, I have cared for friends and families pets wherever I have lived and worked.

Initial consultation:

It is important to meet up with yourselves initially, before any activities commence, for an initial chat and to discuss the dog, yourselves, your relationship, I,e. Health condition, good with other dogs, Chipped, Vaccinated, Spade/Neutered. Appropriate discipline & TREATS?

Dog Walking:

If dogs are to be walked as a large group all dogs must be spade/neutered and vaccinated for safety reasons please.

I am more than happy to take care of 2 or more dogs, from the same home, at one time, depending on size and ability to cope with others, and down to the owners discretion.

I prefer to walk all dogs off the lead (in a safe environment, of course) for the majority of the walk, as I feel it is relaxing for the dog and allows a good bond of trust to be establishes between us. Also I feel it is great for the dogs to get a chance to run around as part of a pack.
But only on signing of the OFF LEAD WAIVER, which is part of my contract.
